At odds
I think this is the first weekend in a long time where we had a full day to do nothing. Other than church on Sunday there were no pressing projects or what not. We kinda ignored the rest of the clean up we could have done and were almost bored. It's a bit weird facing your spouse with nothing to do. We actually were forced to talk to each other and didn't try to fill up space with games or tv or what not. We just spent time with each other. This was mostly the case because Art didn't want to watch tv or a movie. I didn't want to clean out the garage (*gasp* I'm sure most are shocked by that). So we were left staring at each other and started talking. It took a bit because we have been so surrounded by something all the time that it is reaching far back to our dating days to remember the rhythm. It was a good experience to reconnect with each other this way. Though Oliver was a bit distracting at times. He is always up to a new antic which never cease to amuse us. He does add a different dynamic to the house which usually amounts to laughter.
